Hi, my name is Linda and welcome to Linda's Pursenalities. I learned how to sew from my mom, who was an excellent seamstress, and I took some sewing classes off and on through the years. I took the sewing machine out from time to time and did some sewing but I've worked in the corporate world all my life which didn't allow for much sewing time.
When I retired in 2013, I needed something to do so I took the sewing machine out once again and started making totes and purses to give as gifts to family and friends. Several people suggested that I should try to sell my totes and bags on Etsy, which I'd never heard of at the time. After giving it much thought, I decided to look into it and in October 2013 I opened my Etsy shop and that's how Linda's Pursenalities came about. I really have a lot of fun working with fabrics and creating beautiful bags by hand and I hope others enjoy them as much as I love making them. What started out as a hobby, has become my passion.

Everything you see in my shop is created by me in a smoke-free and pet free environment. I take special care with each item and get a real sense of accomplishment when each bag is completed.
